Abstract

The article explores the borrowing of the Uzbek language during
the periods of independence. It also compares the state of borrowings in
explanatory dictionaries created in the period before independence and after
independence. The conclusion of the observations shows that the explanatory
dictionary contains borrowings that are at different stages of semantic evolution.
