THE MOTHERLAND THEME IN THE POETRY OF THE SOLDIER

Abstract

In 20th century Uzbek poetry, Askar Mahkam is one of the few
poets who has his own place and his own voice, and his writings and translations
are undoubtedly among the masterpieces added to the treasury of our literature.
Although the poet's view of the world and man, whose method of expression and
image is not similar to that of others, is close to the views of other artists, the
poetic thoughts, images, poem syntax, creative lexis in his poems are completely
different. In this article, we analyze the poet's poems on the theme of the
homeland.
