Abstract
this article explains the terms folklore and folklorism. The use of
folklorisms given in the Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek Language in the text
of the epic is being studied. According to the typological classification of
folklorisms, they belong to the “ordinary type” and a functional-semantic and
stylistic analysis of folklorisms in epic texts is given.
