Abstract

The article explains the meaning of the term the thesaurus and
the types of thesaurus. Examples in the thesaurus, the functions of the thesaurus, the
functions of the thesaurus are explained through examples. The work of scientists
who have achieved great results in this field has shown how important criteria should
be based on the creation of thesaurus dictionaries. The principles of creating the
WordNet thesaurus are briefly described in the RuThes thesaurus
